Interior space is like a painting, where everything is connected. The color palette and the function of the space are together on this white canvas. Choosing “the right color palette” and bringing balanced and harmonious space is like a play with dominated colors, their nuances, the nuances of opposite and so on colors and of course the forms of the shapes they fill.

color

To be able to see color, there has to be light. So, according to us, color is light, which gives the human a feeling of love, happiness, and freedom.

Color is an energy which has an impact on people and can transform their everyday lives. To live in a colorful environment the habitats would feel themselves more active and younger. Color has an important role in the healthy mental state and physical body. As we know the body is a creation of mind. If a person is happy, the body is healthy.

role and function of color in design

The function of color in our design is connected with the function of the space. Our philosophy is that art and design are inseparable. The design should be functional, aesthetic and stable. Art is the bond to design.

As we know every person who has a stressful and busy life is dreaming all the time to feel the relaxing blue of an ocean, or the freshness of a green forest, or the music of a colorful garden. Through color, we bring nature in the living spaces.

The human soul is thirsty for colors and if one has colors in his life, he would perceive the world in a completely different way. In a way which the Dutch painter from the 1920s Piet Mondrian wanted to show to the viewer in his paintings, that
the world is one whole, and nothing can exist without the other. Our last project “Breakfast with Mondrian” is inspired by his philosophy. Every of our project is a whole harmonious composition of colors, forms, and functions. Everything is connected to everything else in the space.

role of color to create a well-balanced and harmonious space

We use colors depending on the feeling and emotions are needed to the habitats. The colors can bring joy, calmness, happiness, silence, etc.

For instance, if we use in a room, with function to be relaxing, nuances of blue and green and a bit of orange and yellow it would give the feeling like the person is on a beach observing the ocean and sky. His soul would absorb the light coming from colors and it would become satisfied and happy. Choosing “the right color palette” and bringing balanced and harmonious space is like a play with dominated colors, their nuances, the nuances of opposite and so on colors and of course the forms of the shapes they fill.

Interior space is like a painting, where everything is connected. The color palette and the function of the space are together on this white canvas.

We do a composition with colors, which are under control of shapes. The form of the shape, depending on the wanted feeling, can be for instance with acute angle or just a straight line. There are differences if we use a particular red color in a triangle, in a rectangle, or thick line.

Depending on the shape which can be with acute, dull or right angle, colors evoke emotions ranging from feelings of warmth and comfort to feelings of confidence, enjoyment, and creativity and so on. If we use cold colors in a room for relaxing – the acute forms would give warmth. The right angles give colder look but also more luxury.

We use the white color as an active pause between the shapes and tones and the black as a passive pause. So, the eyes cannot be exhausted but opposite. Through observation of colors and forms, the obsessive mind, which is a part of almost every person living a stressful life, one relaxes and opens his mind and this brings happiness to him.

The color palette for our project “Garden of Impressionist” is inspired by some of the greatest impressionists of 19th century. Its name comes from the Garden of the painter Claude Monet, who was a gardener impressed and inspired by his flower and water garden. A garden itself is an intimate space with a wide variety of shapes and colors. It is a private space not only for observing, relaxing and dreaming but also
for stopping the process of obsessive thinking – to hush the buzzing of the mind.

What keeps my heart awake is colorful silence.
Claude MONET

The forms and colors we use in every project would have the attention of the habitants all the time. This attention will make simultaneously their bodies and mind relax and their spirit active – just like nature would do.
