MIPIM is an essential event for anyone aspiring to be a highly conscious and prominent player in the real estate world.
Turkish Architects Federation…
Participating in MIPIM 2025 for the first time as the Turkish Architects Federation was invaluable. It showed that successful Turkish architects, who work in the same field, can come together to elevate one another through support rather than competition. Unity always presents a more robust image, and the continued development of this alliance forms a significant vision for the future.
MIPIM 2025 | perspective…
While the event’s theme, The Global Urban Festival, did not leave a particularly striking impression on me personally, the program itself was notable. Environmentalism and green transformation came to the fore, featuring valuable sessions with a diverse range of speakers. However, the sheer intensity of the schedule and overlapping sessions limited overall efficiency.
In my first MIPIM experience since the pandemic, I noticed a striking shift: the way cities market themselves has elevated to a national level. In the past, firm-based promotions were far more prominent.
In general, the opportunity to communicate within a single, unified area is what makes this fair meaningful. This experience was beneficial for sustaining relationships with new contacts and strengthening our existing business partnerships.
I did, however, see a decline in Türkiye’s visibility on the MIPIM stage. This is partly due to the increasing awareness and participation of many nations that had not previously attended the fair, which has naturally diluted the spotlight.
For instance, while the hotel sector kept a strong presence at both the fair and conferences in past years, it had almost no impact this year. Conversely, Turkish architects left a positive mark on the global stage with their creativity, vision, and determination.
