WAF 2025 Shortlist Announced

The shortlist for the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious architectural events, has officially been revealed!

This year’s shortlist includes 236 completed buildings, 157 future projects, 12 landscape and 65 interior designs, totaling over 470 outstanding entries competing for one of architecture’s most respected awards.

Among the shortlisted are globally renowned practices such as Bjarke Ingels Group, Foster + Partners, Studio Gang, Grimshaw, Nikken Sekkei, Mario Cucinella Architects, and Perkins & Will, alongside emerging and independent studios that are making bold statements in the field.

The United States leads the shortlist in terms of the number of selected projects, followed closely by the United Kingdom, Australia, China, India, Canada, Singapore, Turkiye, the UAE, and Japan.

A Global Gathering of Design Excellence

WAF 2025 is once again preparing to become the global meeting point for the architecture community. All finalists will present their projects in live jury sessions taking place from November 12–14, 2025, in Miami.

More than just an awards event, the World Architecture Festival offers an inspiring platform of presentations, networking opportunities, and thought-provoking debates that shape the global architecture agenda.
