I had just relocated from Atlanta to Chicago so my focus in the beginning of 2016 was primarily on renovating our new home, an inner city 450 sq meter “brownstone” townhouse. I have a few new clients scheduled, kitchen design for a new client in a downtown Chicago condo apartment, I also have a kitchen design for a 17,000-square foot ranch home in LA which will be a Versace meets Newport beach look & a new construction in Hollywood LA with a group of cool young architects.

I am totally excited about all of them, also hoping to see my designs realized at the Milan Salone 2017.
I had just relocated from Atlanta to Chicago so my focus in the beginning of 2016 was primarily on renovating our new home, an inner city 450 sq meter “brownstone” townhouse.
The tasks were to design an interior in keeping with the 1890 Victorian style façade & architectural molding’s whilst adding a contemporary clean modern interior, which was both up to date with “green” products & efficiency but also worked with the “urban” Chicago vibe, resulting in cool chic, elegant & interesting. Total renovation included new kitchen, bathrooms, flooring,2 inch recessed LED fittings & pendant fixtures throughout.
I also worked with Vanixa, an Italian company that creates lights and art pieces to incorporate their LED flickering light / flame technology. I designed 3 lighting vessels that were to encapsulate the emotion of the flame with the LED light technology. One focused on the purity & divinity of the form, one focused on the flames blowing in the wind & the other on moving shadows as the heat moves the suspended form. I had also designed a dining chair for Meritalia, initially to go with the new dining table from Mario Bellini. This product is still under review.
All of my projects are always as important as each other, if I didn’t find each one the most important then I wouldn’t put in my best efforts…& I always do. I do love the diversity that I have been lucky enough to have as It keeps every project very unique & original & special.
