MIPIM 2025 proved to be a powerful platform where we closely watched the global agenda, showed productive business networks, and reconfirmed that Türkiye’s real estate development capabilities continue to attract international stakeholders.
preparation…
As GYODER, our preparations for MIPIM 2025 were structured around the RE-TÜRKİYE concept, aiming to maximize the international visibility of the Turkish real estate sector. This approach provided a strategic framework that re-emphasized our country’s strong project development capacity and high investment potential.
Throughout the process, we collaborated closely with our participating members, achieving strong synergy. We once again saw the value of diverse segments of our sector under a single banner. As the collective voice of Türkiye’s real estate ecosystem, our primary goal became to present a holistic and impactful stance in the international arena.
Now, we are carrying this representational strength into 2026, aiming to position the Türkiye brand with a stronger narrative on a global scale, under the theme Powered by Türkiye, in collaboration with our public and private sector stakeholders.
The Global Urban Festival…
MIPIM’s theme, The Global Urban Festival, clearly proved that cities are no longer merely areas for physical growth; they are being redefined as centers of sustainability, technology, and societal transformation. We, too, view the city as a living organism that must be approached with a livable, inclusive, and holistic perspective, prioritizing the necessities of daily life. In this context, new urban planning approaches are needed, where urban components develop in harmony rather than as isolated projects.
The fact that MIPIM brought together different countries and cities on a common platform, creating a global comparative learning environment, was extremely valuable for us. This vision perfectly aligns with GYODER’s 4T (Technology, Design, Nature, Society) principles. We are now preparing to narrate the transformation story, which we started with RE-TÜRKİYE in 2025, by integrating it with the Powered by Türkiye concept in 2026, within the framework of a stronger country brand and shared vision.
highlights & trends…
In the MIPIM 2025 program, the following topics, shaping the future of the sector, came to the forefront:
- Sustainable Cities and ESG Compliance | Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria are no longer a preference but a necessity.
- Digitalization and Data Centers | Technology-driven real estate development approaches and data center investments are on the rise.
- New Financing Models | Alternative investment instruments and funding systems were discussed.
We found it particularly valuable that the issue of affordable housing was addressed as a global priority within the scope of the Housing Matters conference. The strong presence of the deepening global housing crisis on the MIPIM agenda writes down that the sector is acting not only with an investment focus but also with a sense of social responsibility. We evaluate this approach as a positive and forward-looking step. These trends will serve as an important reference for us when presenting our country’s vision under the Powered by Türkiye banner in 2026.
MIPIM 2025 | perspective…
Next year, under the coordination of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in cooperation with the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment and Finance Offices, and alongside our strategic stakeholders Emlak Konut REIC, its subsidiaries, and İlbank, we will take our place in the approximately 250 m² Türkiye Pavilion at one of the most prestigious locations of the fair.
We believe that this united stance, representing our country under a single roof, will elevate the international visibility and investment appeal of the Türkiye brand to the highest level.
the evolution and progress of MIPIM…
This year, we saw that MIPIM evolved towards a future-oriented vision rather than merely discussing the present. Topics such as Technology (PropTech), climate resilience, social impact, and next-generation urbanism became more prominent. This transformation proves that sustainability and innovation will be decisive factors in the future of the real estate sector.
MIPIM 2026…
The impressions we gained and the contacts we set up at MIPIM 2025 provided significant outputs supporting GYODER’s international expansion strategy. We aim to transform this accumulated knowledge into concrete collaborations and investments in 2026, under the Powered by Türkiye banner. Effectively narrating Türkiye’s investment story and ensuring greater visibility for our members in the global market will be the core strategy for the upcoming period.
